Ever want to know what it is like to be a crew girl? Get the secondhand look...
Hello there, lovely people! Sorry it's been so long since I've updated, this crew girl has been extremely busy as crew girls tend to be. Lets see, where to start. Well, by now most if not all of you should have seen the stage, as we've been rehearsing on it for the past week. It does look wonderful, the drop is gorgeous and the houses are tall! I assure, the balconys are stable and will not fall down. The stairs are also extremely sturdy, and very easy to climb. The house still needs decor, but that will come in time, no worries! As for those of you who have to slide down the chair into the trap, good luck.
Props is working hard, making all of the wonderful things that you actors love to break. As always, there's a lot of stuff still to do, but it will also be done in time.
Anywhoo, now it's time for class (the ding is about to dong) so I must depart. Till next time, beautiful chicas and chicos!

OH! Anyone who wants to sart collecting/donating money to the Dew for Crew funds will be put on the YOU ROCK list for the rest of your natural life. : )

I feel as though this Journal needs posting in. There's really not much to say yet, since not a lot has really happened, but I'm saying something anyway!
The stage you're all going to be acting on is going to be AMAZING! We're all really excited about it! There's also going to be a glowing, smoking furnace big enough to throw people in, the barber chair will be flown in, and the meat grinder will be huge.
Muahahhaa... crew will be having lots of fun. But the first few weeks will mostly be spent on the drop, which will be beautiful! We've also been reprimanded for the huge running crew of last show, and the fact that actors were tripping over all the set pieces in the dark. Sorry kids, we did our best with the glow tape, hopefully this show will be better.
::hugs the actors::
See you all soon!
El chica de la crew.
Dear TX,
THANK YOU to everyone involved with the show, it was absolutely AMAZING! We did SO well, and closing night was outstanding! Great job, keep it up, get lots of rest over Thanksgiving break, and I'll see you in the spring!
Dear Journalthingymabob,
This week is set erection. Yep, most of the seniors were on Kairos this year. YAY for them for Kairos, but we're really behind. But then, we're always behind. Hopefully we'll get a lot of work done tomorrow after Blessing of the Stage.
I feel as though we need to get crew t-shirts. Some of us were thinking up slogans. I think the winner is "Will screw for peanut butter." Simple, to the point, and SO true
Mrs. Korbee is a goddess and you know it.
That is all, have a lovely weekend, all!
Love and peanut butter TX sandwhiches,

Dear Journalthing,
Not much is happening at the moment, most of our scenes have been finalized, and we're just starting building some of the basic set pieces. More to come later, when stuff's actually happening!
Love and peanut butter chips,
She Who Dwells Beneath the Unistrut (and yes it's spelled without the "c", I checked on Thursday when we were working with it)
Dear Journal,
At our crew meeting on Saturday, we discussed our set designs, and finally settled on the idea of several moveable modules of platforms of various heights. We even made a cute little model of it out of graph paper!
